How It Works

For an annual fee of just $99, our membership grants you personalized access to comprehensive menopausal treatment programs. With treatments starting as low as $29 per month, you can manage your health economically while receiving care tailored specifically to your needs.

  • For those who don’t want to use insurance to pay for meds or lack coverage.

We are a cash pay service and do not accept insurance for the provider’s fees.  We offer a $99/month fee that covers the provider’s care, prior authorization case work, and medication management, billed quarterly.  This allows you to have  prescriptions sent to a pharmacy of your choice and paid for by insurance.   A Bloom membership is included for free- so you’ll still have access to our low medication pricing and all the benefits of a Bloom membership.  Bloom medication prices are often cheaper than using insurance.  You’ll have the best of both worlds.  Insurance does not cover testosterone (or any compounded medication) as no FDA approved product exists for women.   We don’t prescribe the one for men as the dose is too high and can’t be controlled.

Labs are only required for testosterone therapy and they are included in membership.

You can try using your credit card HSA/FSA and see if the transaction works.   Each insurance company will have different requirements.  We are unable to assist with your claim.

Our Bloom board certified family medicine nurse practitioner will provide your care.  She has over 30 years experience as a nurse. She is also experiencing perimenopause and can relate to your journey!

The same provider will take care of you throughout your menopause treatment.

Currently seeing patients in Florida and Colorado.  Testosterone is only available to Florida residents at this time.

Bloom orders are sent via US mail, so in most cases that means three to five days from the time of your order.

You can cancel or make changes at any time before your order ships. Once a tracking number is provided we can not make changes.

Once an order has been shipped there are no refunds.  Legally we can not take returned medications. All sales are final. If you feel that a mistake has been made with your order please email us at [email protected]

Yes! We only treat a small part of women’s health related to menopause. You still need pap smears, mammograms and general care. Bloom is not a replacement.

We need your ID for verification, similar to a doctor’s office, to ensure safety and compliance. It’s also important for prescribing medications via telemedicine in the U.S. Your privacy and security are our top priority, and your ID is only used to maintain a safe service.

Inside your Bloom account is a messaging portal. You’ll receive an email when you have a new message.  It can take 24-48 hours to receive a reply.

Please be aware that you have the right to choose to fill your prescriptions at an outside pharmacy. However, if you opt to use an external pharmacy, Bloom Health Care will not be able to include the cost of the medical care in the price of the prescription, as our service model integrates these costs to provide streamlined care and convenience.  As a result, choosing an outside pharmacy will incur additional charges for the medical consultation, on going management and prescription approval of $499 per quarter of service. Only medications currently offered as part of our treatment program can be prescribed.  Any compounded specialty medications such as testosterone, skin care compounds or hair loss compounds do not have a commercial equivalent and therefore can not be prescribed.  Your prescriptions will be sent to a single pharmacy of your choice.  We do not provide assistance with prior authorizations for medications. Should you need a prior authorization contact your primary care provider.

Treatments

After completing our online medical form the nurse practitioner will decide what medications you are eligible for based on your medical history and current symptoms.

Systemic treatments like the pill or patch tend to work a bit faster, days to weeks.  Other products for vaginal dryness and bladder issues require time for the tissue to repair and heal. This is typically 10-12 weeks.

If you are having menopausal symptoms and have not had a period in 12 months you are likely to be in menopause.  If your still having periods, even irregular ones, you are in perimenopause.  Typical age for perimenopause is 40’s and menopause 50’s.

Menopause refers to the point in time when a woman has not had a menstrual period for 12 consecutive months, marking the end of her reproductive years. It is a definitive milestone indicating that the ovaries have ceased producing significant amounts of estrogen and progesterone, and no longer release eggs.

Perimenopause, on the other hand, is the transitional phase leading up to menopause, during which a woman may experience irregular menstrual cycles, changes in menstrual flow, hot flashes, sleep disturbances, and mood swings. This phase can last from a few months to several years as hormone levels fluctuate before finally reaching menopause.  Perimenopause usually starts in your 40’s.

Women with a uterus who are in menopause and are taking estrogen therapy need progesterone (or a progestin, which is a synthetic form of progesterone) to counterbalance the effects of estrogen on the lining of the uterus (endometrium). Estrogen alone can cause the endometrium to thicken, increasing the risk of endometrial cancer. Progesterone helps to prevent this by causing the endometrium to shed through a menstrual-like bleeding, thereby reducing the risk of developing endometrial cancer. This combination therapy is important for protecting the health of the uterus in women who are receiving estrogen during menopause.

All of our products are bio-identical except for the low dose birth control.

Our hormone treatments are FDA approved medications. that may be used off label.  We also use compounded medications that are not FDA approved for our sexual enhancement, skin and hair care.  Testosterone cream is compounded and not FDA approved. There is no FDA approved testosterone medication for women, only for men.
